Marriage proposals have been hard to come by at a village in Bihar and now the villagers have joined hands to build a road. It is after a gap of five years that wedding songs are being sung in Dhanua village of Samastipur in Bihar. For a long time this village had no road access and residents say it was the inaccessibility that was discouraging young men from seeking brides here.
