After a young girl was bitten by a stray dog, the Bombay Municipal Corporation (BMC) has decided to impose a fine on people who feed stray dogs. “People feed the stray dogs without realising that after they leave, the dogs pose a threat to the children. So we've decided to impose a fine of Rs 600,” Mumbai Mayor Shubha Raut said.
The girl was saved by stray dogs after she was abandoned by her mother.
