International champion forced to apply for constable's job

Twenty-three years old Pravasini Dwivedi rowed against the odds to become an international champion but failed to win the battle against poverty .The daughter of a poor farmer in Orissa's Kendrapada district, Pravasini won gold at the Asian Rowing championships in Hyderabad in 2004.
