Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf has started discussing an “exit strategy” for himself and will resign in a few days, reports a British newspaper. Musharraf wants to avoid a power struggle with the new parliament, in which the Pakistan People’s Party and the Pakistan Muslim League (N) will be close to the two-thirds majority needed to impeach him and remove him from office. Another British daily reports that Musharraf has been “sulking” ever since the party supporting him was routed in elections.
Elections prove that the world needn’t despair for country, say youth.
