Cong-SP look for mutual benefits, set for alliance

In what is rapidly developing as one of the biggest political crisis for the Congress-led UPA Government, there has been no breakthrough in the negotiations over the Indo-US Nuclear deal. The Left parties have rejected last ditch attempts by the UPA to allow the deal to go through and a break up seems inveitable. Preparing for it's separation plan with the Left, the Congress-led UPA Government is now on the lookout for new allies. And there are enough indications that the Congress' former adversary, Mulayam Singh Yadav is slowly drifting towards the UPA.
