Illinois senator and Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama claimed a victory in the North Carolina primary on Tuesday. However, the results of the other primary - Indiana - were too close to call, even six hours after voting ended, although polls projected a slim lead for New York senator Hillary Clinton. The results were finally declared with Hillary winning the Indiana primary.
With Obama and Clinton running neck-and-neck, it could be a fight to the finish.
