Gurjars get 5 per cent quota, declare peace

The stalemate between Rajasthan government and the Gurjars ended after the fifth round of talks between Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and Gurjar leader Colonel (retd) Kirori Singh Bainsla in Jaipur on Wednesday. Raje expressed satisfaction that the talks have been fruitful and that will put and an end to the agitation that has been on for about a month now. She announced that Gurjars, Rebaris and Banjaras will get five per cent quota within the OBC quota.
