Modi can be questioned for '02 riots: High Court

The Gujarat High Court on Friday rejected a petition which sought a stay on the Special Investigation Team (SIT) from questioning Chief Minister Narendra Modi and 62 others for the 2002 riots in the state. A petition filed by a BJP politician had sought a stay on SIT questioning Modi and others. Civil rights groups allege Modi didn't do enough to control the riots.

RIOT HIT: The post-Godhra violence had claimed 59 lives in Sabarmati Express on February 27, 2002.
