
Narang will be shooting the prone event at the Beijing Olympics. He did not have a good final, though, and managed an aggregate of 699.8, which saw him settle for the bronze medal. Narang had recently won the bronze medal in the 10-metre air rifle event at the World Cup in Beijing, the same venue where the Olympic shooting competition will take place.
Gangan Narang added a bronze to his kitty in the 50m rifle after securing third place with a total of 1162 points.
