Montek Singh Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairperson of the Planning Commission, wants a bit of patience from the country in controlling inflation and promises that the problem would be solved in a few months’ time. “Big problems aren’t solved instantaneously. I am not talking about waiting for years; I am saying in a few months’ time—certainly by September-October we would be in a much better position on the inflation front,” he told Karan Thapar on Devil’s Advocate.
