Medical aspirants show sharp decline in numbers

There has been a 25 per cent drop in the number of students who took the All India Pre-Medical Test this year, from over 2 lakh students last year. The entrance for the All India Institute of Medical Sciences is a similar story. The number of students has dropped from 80,000 in 2006 to 65,000 in 2007.
