Kingfisher loses out, Wilbur Ross gets SpiceJet stake

Kingfisher Airlines has lost the race to acquire low-cost carrier Spicejet. The promoters of Spicejet -- the UK-based Kansagra family -- and Gulf-based investor Istithmar have accepted US-based investor Wilbur Ross' offer instead.
