The Ferrari team has decided to go back to using the hand-held 'lollipop' to tell drivers when to leave the pits at this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix. The decision has been taken after the pit stop disaster at the first-ever night Grand Prix in Singapore two weeks back where it had used the traffic light system, where a confusion led to Filippe Massa driving from the pits with the fuel hose still attached to the car.
He streaked round the city-state's floodlit circuit in a time of 1m, 44.506sec.
