PPP most favoured in public survey, PML(N) second

Pakistan's public opinion is strongly in favour of the Pakistan People's Party, as was evinced by an opinion poll conducted by the International Republican Institute. The party, which is currently being led by Benazir Bhutto's widower Asif Ali Zardari and her son, Bilawal, garnered 50 per cent in the national sample of over 3,400 respondents.
