Petroleum Minister Murli Deora Saturday said the government will give dealerships for petroleum products to the families of security personnel killed in the Mumbai terror attacks. After attending the funeral of the chief of Mumbai's Anti-Terrorism Squad Hemant Karkare, who fell to terrorists' bullets on the night of Nov 26, Deora said it was a "national duty" to take care of the dependents of the security personnel, a government statement said here.
BJP has already gone to the EC citing violation of the model code of conduct.
