A giant panda suffering from a dense cataract on its left eye had a cataract surgery on Saturday afternoon, Chinese state media CCTV reported on Sunday. The panda named Xiaoming was sent to Xi'an Old City Eye Hospital. CCTV footage showed vets injecting the panda with anaesthetics before undergoing surgery.
