After getting an overwhelming response in the US, acclaimed actor and Bharatnatyam dancer Shobhana's dance ballet titled Maya Ravan premiered in India at Mumbai's Nehru Center on Saturday. The actor/danseuse plays Ravana, the ten-headed demon king of Lanka, in the dance-drama ballet. The performance attracted not just classical dance enthusiasts, but even Bollywood celebrities.
The renowned actress and danseuse will be seen donning the role of Ravan.
