On Monday, 19-year-old Uday Kumar Chaudhary, one of the accused in the Satyendra Dubey murder case gave the cops a slip in Patna. Chaudhary had also escaped in December 2006 and was arrested a month later. The 31-year-old Dubey, an IIT-Kanpur graduate, was working with the NHAI on the Golden Quadrilateral when he wrote a letter to the PMO about corruption and poor quality of work. Dubey had requested for secrecy but the letter was leaked and he was later shot dead in Gaya.
Satyendra Dubey's younger brother has said he would file a special appeal for re-investigation of the murder.
