
Andhra Pradesh government has decided to compensate 21 Muslim youths who were wrongly detained and tortured during the Mecca Masjid, Gokul Chat and Lumbini Park blast probes. A government report says the detainees were stripped, physically abused and given electric shocks. The compensation worth Rs 30,000 is being paid to them in the form of an auto rickshaw.
Andhra Pradesh government did not hold any function nor has paid compensations.
