
The Supreme Court on Friday suspended the execution of three AIADMK activists who were found guilty in the Dharmapuri bus burning case. They were found guilty of setting a bus on fire in February 2000 while protesting party leader Jayalalitha's conviction in the Kodaikanal Pleasant Stay Hotel case. The incident had lead to the death of three girl students from the Tamil Nadu Agriculture University.
The court also upheld the 25 other sentences in the Dharmapuri case.
