The Delhi High Court has ordered the reinstatement of 26,706 army personnel who were discharged by the Indian Army Chief on medical grounds. The High Court has ruled that all army personnel would also be entitled to back wages and benefits. All those reinstated can join their respective departments and units. The landmark order was passed on Thursday by the two-judge bench of Justice Vikramajit Sen and Justice SL Bhayana.
The court's order came on a petition filed by a SC student.
