Hyderabad gangster Aziz Reddy alias Baba Reddy was gunned down in a shootout with police on Wednesday night. The incident took place at about 2315 hrs, IST in Jubilee Hills in uptown Hyderabad. Police commissioner Prasada Rao said that the department was tipped off about Reddy's whereabouts earlier.
Sawant might have come to take some message from inside the jail and police are investigating on those lines.
